About Me

I’m Ishani Prabhudesai, a mechanical engineer and robotics enthusiast currently pursuing a graduate degree in Robotics & Control at Columbia University. My work blends mechanical innovation with AI-powered autonomy, aiming to build sustainable technologies that expand the boundaries of what machines can do.

With hands-on experience in ROS (Robot Operating System), mechatronics, and kinematics, I’ve contributed to exciting innovations from designing a high-speed quadruped robot with agile joints, to building an autonomous waste-collecting boat using eco-friendly materials.

I’m especially passionate about merging technology with environmental impact. Many of my projects focus on sustainability, exploring bio-based materials and efficient mechanical systems to address real-world challenges.

When I’m not prototyping or tinkering with robots, you’ll likely find me at the gym or immersed in art, music, or exploring good food in NYC and Mumbai!
