About Me
Hey there! I’m Ishani Prabhudesai, a robotics fanatic and mechanical engineering geek, currently diving deep into the exciting world of robotics systems at Columbia University. My passion lies in crafting innovative engineering solutions that blend hardware, AI, and autonomy to push the boundaries of what machines can do.
With a strong background in ROS (Robot Operating System), mechatronics, and kinematics, I’m working on some thrilling projects like building a quadruped sprinting robot with flexible joints, designed for agile movement and high-speed navigation. My journey isn’t just about cool robots, though—I’m also obsessed with sustainable tech, developing projects like the autonomous waste collection boat made from eco-friendly materials.
When I’m not coding or assembling prototypes, you’ll find me mentoring aspiring engineers, promoting women in STEM, or just geeking out over the latest breakthroughs in robotics. If you’re into cutting-edge tech or simply want to chat about the future of autonomous systems, let’s connect!
